REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Fair’s fair. Here’s exactly where you stand.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, refunds and recurring membership payments are handled by Energy PUNK.
It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.
1. WHO WE ARE
Energy PUNK is operated by Energy PUNK Ltd, a company registered in Scotland.
Company number: SC861723
Registered office:
50 Newcomen Gardens
Cambuslang
Glasgow
Scotland
G72 8XT
Email: info@energypunk.net
2. ENERGY PUNK MEMBERSHIP
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, Energy PUNK membership costs:
£60 per month
Membership begins with an:
Initial minimum commitment of three months
The minimum financial commitment is therefore:
£180
Payments are normally collected monthly.
After the initial three-month commitment has been completed, membership continues on a monthly rolling basis until cancelled.
3. CANCELLING DURING THE INITIAL THREE MONTHS
You may ask us to cancel your membership at any time.
However, unless a statutory cancellation right applies, cancelling during the initial three-month commitment does not remove your obligation to pay the remaining payments due during that minimum period.
For example:
If you cancel during month two, the payment due for month three will normally still be payable.
Your membership will then end once the minimum commitment has been completed.
4. CANCELLING AFTER THE INITIAL THREE MONTHS
Once your initial three-month commitment has ended, your membership continues on a monthly rolling basis.
You can cancel before your next scheduled renewal.
Cancellation can be made:
• Through your Energy PUNK account, where an online cancellation option is available
• By emailing info@energypunk.net
We will confirm your cancellation by email.
Once cancellation takes effect:
• No further recurring payment will be taken
• You will normally retain access until the end of the membership period already paid for
• Your access will then end unless another arrangement has been agreed
5. STATUTORY CANCELLATION RIGHTS
When you purchase online, consumer law may give you statutory cancellation rights.
Energy PUNK provides digital learning content that can normally be accessed immediately after purchase.
Where you request immediate access to digital content, we may ask you during checkout to confirm that:
• You want access to begin immediately
• You understand that beginning supply of digital content may affect your statutory right to cancel
For digital downloads and streamed content, UK rules require businesses to obtain the customer's agreement to immediate supply and acknowledgement that the normal 14-day cancellation right may be lost once supply begins. If this process is not followed correctly, the consumer may retain that right.
Nothing in this policy removes any statutory right that cannot legally be excluded.
6. WHEN A REFUND MAY BE AVAILABLE
A refund may be available where:
• You have a statutory right to cancel
• Energy PUNK has taken a payment in error
• You have been charged after a valid cancellation should have taken effect
• A service has materially not been provided as agreed
• Digital content is faulty or does not conform to the contract and applicable consumer law provides a remedy
• We otherwise agree that a refund is appropriate
Where required by law, refunds will be provided within the applicable statutory timescale.
7. WHEN A REFUND WOULD NOT NORMALLY BE AVAILABLE
A refund would not normally be provided simply because:
• You changed your mind after valid immediate digital access had begun and no statutory cancellation right remained
• You did not complete the course or use the membership
• You did not attend an included live session
• You failed to cancel before a scheduled rolling renewal
• You cancelled during the initial three-month minimum commitment but still had payments remaining under that commitment
• Your access was suspended or terminated because of serious misuse of the platform or breach of our Terms & Conditions
This is always subject to your statutory consumer rights.
8. DIGITAL CONTENT
Energy PUNK membership may provide immediate access to:
• Online courses
• Videos
• Interactive learning activities
• Technical learning materials
• Downloadable documents
• Digital tools
• Simulators
• Assessments
• Other online resources
Because this content can be supplied immediately, the checkout process may include an express request for immediate supply and acknowledgement regarding cancellation rights.
We will not rely on wording hidden only inside these terms where the law requires active agreement at checkout.
9. FAULTY OR MISDESCRIBED DIGITAL CONTENT
Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.
If digital content or services supplied by Energy PUNK are faulty, materially misdescribed or otherwise fail to meet applicable consumer-law requirements, you may be entitled to a remedy.
Please contact us at:
info@energypunk.net
and provide details of the issue.
We will investigate and respond within a reasonable period.
10. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
To request a refund, email:
info@energypunk.net
Please include:
• Your name
• The email address linked to your Energy PUNK account
• The payment or membership concerned
• The reason for your request
• Any relevant supporting information
We may request further information where reasonably necessary to investigate the request.
11. HOW REFUNDS ARE PAID
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be returned using the original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.
Where the law specifies a particular refund deadline, Energy PUNK will comply with that requirement.
12. FAILED OR DUPLICATE PAYMENTS
If you believe you have been:
• Charged twice
• Charged the wrong amount
• Charged after cancellation
• Charged for a membership you did not authorise
contact us as soon as possible at:
info@energypunk.net
We will investigate the payment and correct any confirmed error.
13. PROMOTIONAL OFFERS AND DISCOUNTS
From time to time, Energy PUNK may offer:
• Discounted memberships
• Promotional pricing
• Free trials
• Introductory offers
• Discount codes
Any specific cancellation, renewal or refund conditions attached to an offer will be made clear before purchase.
Promotional terms do not remove statutory consumer rights.
14. FUTURE SUBSCRIPTION RULES
UK subscription law is changing.
The Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 introduces a new statutory regime for qualifying subscription contracts, including requirements around cancellation, reminders and cooling-off rights. Current government guidance says these subscription rules are expected to come into force in Spring 2027.
Energy PUNK will update its membership, cancellation and refund processes before those requirements apply.
Where future legislation gives members additional rights, those rights will apply regardless of anything in this policy.
15. FAIR CANCELLATION
We aim to make cancellation straightforward.
We will not intentionally:
• Hide the cancellation process
• Impose unreasonable cancellation barriers
• Require excessive notice
• Continue taking recurring payments after a valid cancellation has taken effect
Current CMA guidance emphasises reasonable notice, straightforward cancellation and fair treatment around automatic renewal.
16. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy where necessary to reflect:
• Changes to Energy PUNK membership
• Changes to pricing
• Changes to our platform
• Changes in consumer law
• Changes to subscription regulation
The latest version will be available on the Energy PUNK website.
Where a change materially affects an existing paid membership, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected members.
